Top Sydney Wedding Reception Tip # 1 - The most expensive is not always the best. This tip is true for every aspect of your Sydney wedding - for the reception venue, wedding flowers, wedding entertainment, bridal dresses, wedding cake, wedding photographer, bonbonniere, wedding invitations and almost everything else you can think of!
It sounds obvious, but many brides get caught up in the emotion of the event and become worried that if they don’t choose the most costly version, the day will somehow be substandard. But while it’s a marketing tactic to play on that fear, it’s really a fallacy. Just to give you one example, we’ve played at Sydney wedding reception venues that cost very little per head, where the food and service was great. We’ve also played at some of the so-called top venues (read; expensive) where the food was average and the service and organisation was actually not as good as some of the less expensive options. The moral of the story is; spending more does not necessarily make the day any more special! The only way to be sure of the value of what you’re getting is to ask questions, try the product or service yourself and perhaps most importantly, look at independent reviews or feedback from other brides. Tentrix is rated five stars consistently in independent reviews on wedding site Easy Weddings and yet we only charge a fair price for our services. We couldn’t count the number of times people have expressed surprise we don’t charge more, but we don’t think it’s fair to gouge our clients just because it’s their wedding.
